Agilense Reference Frameworks

The Agilense Framework is an enterprise classification template that spans business, application, information, and technology architecture. The framework enables a compressive, holistic view of the enterprise to be visualized and analyzed. Framework artifact classifications include goals, objectives, initiatives, risk, functions, rules, organization, customers, markets, competitors, deals, services, products, suppliers, channels, business models, resources, partners, application, database, dataset, business objects, types, platforms, and networks. Framework Manager

Framework Manager has proven to be superior in ease of use and productivity for working with classifications (Types). Framework Manger is a browser based view in which authorized users may define new Types, alter existing Types or delete Types from the system. Additionally, a model-drawing canvas (e,g. Visio) may be used to work with Types thus enabling traditional case-tool experienced modelers to transition into the new browser based paradigm.

EA WebModeler ships with predefined Types used for system housekeeping. These facilitate management of system settings, user preferences, user profiles and security. Additionally, you may be provided with one or more MetaSets. These are libraries of predefined Types that customize or extend EA WebModeler to support a given focus, such as managing Enterprise Architectures, supporting Program Management, or managing a Consulting Practice Knowledge Base.

EA WebModeler supports any number of user defined Types. Types are defined at run time, in real time, and can be used immediately. When a Type has been created, or modified one, the changes is immediately reflect in the other browsers in the system, allowing creation of instances of that Type, query, browsing relationships graphically, etc.
