Smalltalk:::OWL-Project

The Smalltalk OWL Project was launched 1 Jan 06, the overview of the effort is:
  • Identify participants interested in achieving OWL capability in Smalltalk as opensource
  • Identify exisiting Smalltalk design/code that can contribute to the solution
  • Identify non-ST code and documentation that can be leveraged
  • Develop an RDF/OWL reader/writer
  • Develop an OWL reasoner
    There are clearly more details that need filling in, which will be done as the team is assembled and collaborates

    Initially Steve Hunter will coordinate the activites of the group but is perfectly happy to hand the lead over to anyone who is committed to achieving the objectives of this effort.

    A collaborative site including wiki, mail subscription, and shared workspace for the project has been established at http://stowl.cim3.net/
